How a deal works

Every stage from registration to delivery, with what we do and what you do. Prices include our brokerage; freight is quoted per shipment and paid to the logistics company.

Enquiry → Quote → Acceptance → Payment → Dealer paid → Freight quote → Shipment → Tracking → Delivery

  1. 1

    Register as a dealer

Sign up with your name, email, company and country. There is no approval wait: you can browse, enquire and accept quotes right away. Logistics-partner accounts are issued by us.

    KMG
Creates your company account and keeps your details current.
    You
Fill in the form; a business licence is optional.
    Dealer registration →
  2. 2

    Choose cars and enquire

Every public price is the dealer’s price plus our 5% brokerage; freight is separate. Enquire about one car or several; each car is handled as its own line.

    KMG
Confirms with the dealer that each car is still available.
    You
Send the cars, your city and the number of units you want.

  3. 3

    Receive a quote

We send a quote per car in US dollars, with the exchange rate fixed when the quote is issued. If something changes we issue a new version; every version is kept.

    KMG
    Issues and revises the quote.
    You
Review each line; ask for changes.
  4. 4

    Accept

Accept car by car. On acceptance the car is reserved for you with the dealer and the amount is fixed.

    KMG
    Reserves the car internally.
    You
    Accept the lines you want.
  5. 5

    Pay the car price

Transfer the accepted amount (brokerage included) to Korea Merchants Group by bank wire in US dollars. Exchange-rate movements after acceptance are ours, not yours.

    KMG
Confirms receipt and allocates it to your car.
    You
Wire the amount shown on the quote.
  6. 6

    We pay the dealer

The dealer is paid only after your payment has cleared in full and is allocated to that car. If the dealer raises the price after acceptance, we hold them to the agreed price or cancel that car and refund 100% of what you paid for it.

    KMG
Pays the dealer; recovers and refunds if a car is cancelled.
    You
    Nothing to do.
  7. 7

    Freight quote and payment

The logistics company quotes freight for your shipment — the Routes page shows indicative Q4 2026 rates — and you pay it to the logistics company. Freight for every car on a wagon must be received before the train leaves Yantai. There are no cancellation or change fees on logistics.

    KMG
Arranges the logistics company and the wagon.
    You
Pay the freight quote to the logistics company.

    Shipment

Collection in Incheon, sea feeder to Yantai, bonded yard (30 days free), car-carrier rail wagon (at least 2 cars; several buyers may share one), unloading at Altynkol, road to your city.

    KMG
Runs every leg and the documents.
    You
    Follow the stages.

    Tracking

Each stage is confirmed with photos: loading in Incheon, departure, receipt in Yantai, rail departure, arrival. A share link works without a login and shows no personal data.

    KMG
Confirms each stage and posts the photos.
    You
Share the link with your buyer if you like.

    Delivery

Your car arrives within 40 days of its train leaving Yantai. Customs clearance, registration, certification and taxes in your country are the importer’s responsibility; we hand over the documents (export declaration, invoice, packing list, waybills).

    KMG
Hands over the car and the documents.
    You
Clear customs and register the car.

Worth knowing up front

  • Listings and prices are public; no login is needed to browse or enquire.
  • Deals are agreed and paid in US dollars. Prices in won are shown for reference.
  • Freight shown on the site is indicative; the quote for your shipment is the binding figure and excludes customs in your country.
  • Departure and arrival dates are estimates until the train has actually left; the 40-day guarantee runs from that departure.
